KEEP IN PERFECT PEACE - Divine Covenant Ministries

He sings of how God will restore Israel to righteousness and peace, once again walking in their rightful place. In Isaiah 26, we see the prophet praising God for His provision. A day will come when Israel will be redeemed and restored for their sin, and they will walk in the paths of righteousness and have peace in their hearts, for when hearts are focused on the Lord, His perfect peace stills the soul and floods the heart.

When Christians set their hearts on Christ Jesus today, they experience inner peace – an inexplicable peace… a perfect peace that is only available from above

Psalms tell us that righteousness and peace kiss, and the peace we long for only results from righteousness. In trusting Christ, the sinner-man receives the righteousness of Christ and peace with God. As the saved man, clothed with Christ’s righteousness, walks in spirit and truth, he enjoys fellowship with the Father and receives the perfect peace of God that passes all understanding.

Indeed, God gives the one who believes in the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior PEACE WITH GOD – and He will keep the believer in Christ covered in His own perfect peace, by offering us the PEACE OF GOD which transcends human understanding. As we take every thought captive to Him, may we be sure that our hearts are fixed on the Lord Jesus moment by moment because God has promised to keep in perfect peace those who trust in Him and fasten their hearts upon Him.

MY PRAYER

I ask You to keep the thoughts of my heart and the thoughts of my mind centered on You moment by moment so that the righteousness and peace of Christ will embrace my life as I walk in spirit and truth… in the power of the Holy Spirit, AMEN.
