Nothing else matters (Luke 3:21-22; Colossians 3:23-24)
The human tendency is to seek outward affirmation from others. Although being liked or thought well of is good, seeking such affirmation can be harmful.
People are relational beings, and since we are of this species, it is only natural to want to connect with others and not just connect, but to connect positively.
In today’s message, two passages of scripture serve as a reminder for all of us who claim to be people of faith about where our priorities belong.
