There are countless ways in which we may attribute “All things well“ to God, but we can rely on the following to be among them.
I. IN CREATION:
No matter how hard or painful your circumstances may be, God stays the same. His creation is a clear indication of this. As a result of seeing God in nature, I’ve been able to recover from depressions, reduce my fears, and find encouragement during my most trying times.
Despite the darkness of the night, the sun rises no matter how strong the storm, the waves gently pound the rocky coast, the voice of God is already present in creation, and we just need to train our vision to see it
“For by Him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him and for Him.” Colossians. 1:16
“And God saw everything that He had made, and, behold, it was very good. Genesis 1:31
II. IN REDEMPTION:
As a Christian, every child of God should grasp the concept of redemption. When the Lord Jesus sacrificed himself, he reinstated for mankind the rights which had been revoked when man sinned against God and fell in the Garden of Eden as described in the third chapter of the Bible Book of Genesis.
It is vital to understand how the consequences of the fall differ from those associated with the judgment that followed. Sin led to consequences, but the judgment that followed led to consequences as well.
As a result of Adam and Eve‘s disobedience and sin, they died– the spirit of man became separated from God, and when God appeared, he pronounced judgment upon Satan and mankind. As the Lord Jesus was crucified for us, he suffered to redeem us from death, pain, suffering, and poverty that resulted as a result of judgment. He also defeated and disarmed the devil.
“Wherefore He is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by Him, seeing He ever liveth to make intercession for them.” Hebrew 7:25.
Notice these three glorious truths as it regards the redemption that we have through Him.
1. Universally available: “The Lord is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” II Peter 3:9
2. Totally efficacious: “Who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from all iniquity.” Titus 2:14
3. Eternally effective: “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. And I give unto them eternal life: and they shall never perish.” John 10:27-28
III. IN FRIENDSHIP:
The relationship we have with God or our faith in Him is something we normally think of as being both personal and private. Similarly, the relationship we share with people is something we see just between us and them.
In our friendships, we often fail to realize that God plays a role, and one can only form true friendships with God. The relationship between people and God enables us to cultivate an understanding of His presence in our lives.
1. Unfailing: “There is a Friend who sticketh closer than a brother.” Proverbs 18:24
2. Understanding: … “tempted in all points as are we, yet without sin.”
3. Undeniable: “My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the Righteous.” I John 2:1
THEREFORE: love Him; trust Him; praise Him; share Him, and “Glorify Him in your body, and in your spirit, which are His.”
I Corinthians. 6:20
